I have been looking for a free baby kimono sweater for while. I have looked at the Mason Dixon one, but there isn't anything else I want to knit in the book! So I was glad when I found this pattern.

This worked up really fast. I am hoping it will be a good gift for my grand-niece Trinity for Xmas.

I may add some of the crochet flowers I got in my Etsy Truck Sale bag to it. I think they could look cute. I will just use pins so they can be removed for washing.

The sweater turned out great! I have the Mason Dixon book and have never knit anything out of it. I know people are just ga ga over it...but...I bought it because of a friend's insistance that I needed it. Maybe someday I will need to make some bath towels or something LOL.

It is so funny about the Mason Dixon book. I saw the kimono and wanted to do it. Then I looked at the rest of the book. I have to confess. It just didn't strike me as any of it was worth the price of the book. I have seen patterns I like more online for free.

I am glad someone posted a baby kimono sweater pattern for free. Definitely a fun thing to knit and quick.
