Consumer Friendly vs. Price Fixed Yarns

When I was listening to the Lime & Violet Podcast, they mentioned in episode 12 about some yarn companies engaging in price fixing. I made a note of a couple companies mentioned in the podcast in my Palm.

When I was looking at the lovely socks I so want, I found they were made with Lorna Laces yarn. It dawned on me that I could really use a more comprehensive list.

Consumer Friendly Products has put together a site with some info. The list doesn't seem to have been updated since Oct. 06, but something is still better than nothing.

I just don't see how that is fair business practice to fix prices. *shakes head* Thanks again Lime & Violet for bringing the topic to my attention. Knowledge is power.

Glad to share it. I am just so glad that Lime & Violet did the episode on it.
