Yarn:
Miss Babs Yowza - Whatta Skein! in Gal Noir Colorway
Purchased at Miss Babs Hand Dyed Yarns & Fibers

After both The Knit Girllls & Round the Twist's podcasts discussing the Weigh It Shawls, I bought WI2. Love shawls that sit well on the shoulders.

The toughest choice was which colorways to choose. And when they got here, which one to use for the shawl!

I weighed the skein after winding. People aren't kidding about these coming in heavy! This one is a whopping 9 1/8th oz!

Since I had so much more, I used more on the body of the shawl. It is more a suggestion anyhow. Got to the edging. Did increase rows. Have 64 grams to start the pattern repeat. I will weigh it again after to see how much I am using for the two rows.

After 2 rows, 50 gms. 14 gms less.

36 gms after another repeat. Got out another repeat & had enough to bind off.

Love the project. Fits wonderfully on the shoulders. Nice and squishy. Definitely a new fav shawl.
